Employment disputes and tribunal claims
  1. Employment disputes and tribunal claims

We understand that, when employment issues become disputes, clients need lawyers who will work with them closely and who will fight their corner in an intelligent, commercial and cost effective manner. We have an appreciation of the tactics used by both employers and employees and a balanced understanding of the common issues involved and how best to deal with them.

We assist our clients with resolving disputes before they result in proceedings being brought, including assisting with responding to grievances and liaising with ACAS in relation to early conciliation and settlement.

We also regularly advise clients in relation to defending Employment Tribunal and High Court litigation on behalf of our clients.

The group has 'good knowledge of employment related litigation and tribunal processes'

    THE LEGAL 500 UK

We have significant experience in dealing with claims for unfair dismissal, wrongful dismissal and breach of contract as well as other claims arising from employment legislation, such as discrimination, claims for unlawful deductions from wages, working time and holiday pay.

We also regularly advise clients in relation to proceedings in the High Court relating to restrictive covenants and misuse of confidential information, including making or defending applications for injunctions.
