Stevens & Bolton LLP has advised Bilfinger Berger Industrial Services Group (BIS Group) on its recent acquisition of HG Holdings Limited and its operating subsidiaries (HG Group), a specialist in system integration and automation in the UK.
BIS Group considers that the acquisition will enable the synergies that exist between the HG Group and BIS Group to be fully realised with a seamless delivery to its customers.
UK revenues of the BIS Group are more than EUR 370 million, with over 4,000 core employees serving mainly the chemicals, refining, energy and oil and gas markets across the UK.
The Stevens & Bolton LLP team was led by Ken Woffenden (managing partner), supported by Lucy Handford (corporate), Sarah Tootell (employment) and Sarah Kirwan (real estate).
This is the latest in a series of UK acquisitions where Stevens & Bolton LLP has advised BIS Group.
Robert Huber, Head of Legal (Industrial Services), Bilfinger SE commented:
“We first instructed Stevens & Bolton LLP 6 years ago. We have been delighted with the highly commercial, pragmatic and responsive service we have received. As a substantial multi national group we use law firms in many major jurisdictions and the service received from Stevens & Bolton LLP compares well with all of these. We would not hesitate to recommend the firm to other large international companies seeking legal advice in the UK.”
