We represent banks, other financial institutions and borrowers across a range of corporate borrowing and debt restructuring matters.
We act on the negotiation of significant new financing facilities and on day to day issues relating to corporate lending and borrowing. In conjunction with our corporate and restructuring and insolvency teams we are well placed to advise clients on all aspects of corporate lending and borrowing.
The flexibility and ability to work at high pace are a critical asset. The willingness to go the extra mile to get a deal done is what I look for and Stevens & Bolton were superb in this area.
THE LEGAL 500
Our clients encompass a broad range of lenders and borrowers, ranging from entrepreneurs and SMEs (including start-up companies looking for initial financing) to established global listed companies, and we work on transactions of all sizes from £1 million up to £500 million. We can adapt the scope and extent of our advice to suit the particular requirements of the client.
We act on new financings such as working capital facilities (whether syndicated or bilateral), refinancings and amendments of existing facilities, and provide advice on the compliance with the terms of loan and security documents (including waiver and reservation of rights letters). We also draft loan, guarantee and security documentation for intra-group lending and non-bank finance arrangements.
