The team works with clients drafting and negotiating bespoke agreements and, amendments to standard forms, in order to serve their commercial requirements. We advise on a variety of procurement options such as joint ventures and partnering agreements in order to ensure our clients' interests are protected.
We are able to advise on the method of procurement most suitable for a particular project and assist with overcoming issues which may arise out of any given procurement method. Where regulations are applicable, such as in the public sector governing how suppliers may be selected, we can offer advice on these regulations and provide commercially minded solutions to issues arising out of such regulations. In addition, we are able to advise clients on competition and EU law matters that may arise out of a particular method of procurement.
We have advised contractors, sub-contractors and concessionaires in relation to PFI and PPP schemes ensuring that our clients are fully aware of the complex risk allocation procedures and limitations often encountered with these delivery models.
We also have dedicated Commercial Property and Environmental teams who are able to assist with any issues that may arise in relation to the acquisition of a site, planning and environmental issues.
