Stevens & Bolton has advised The Ents Inc on its Series Seed funding round led by Edition Capital, with investments also made by high profile angel investors.
The Ents Inc focuses on developing, creating and implementing video-game experiences in the tech-leisure sector – a sector which has seen significant growth in recent years.
Tom Lionetti-Maguire, Founder and CEO of The Ents Inc, commented: "This seed funding round happened in a lightning fast fashion after a proof of concept late last year - such was the excitement around the concept - I’ve never seen anything like it! Hugely grateful to Nick, Nassar and Krishna for getting it across the line as quickly as we did".
Nick Atkins, head of entrepreneurs at Stevens & Bolton, said: “We’re really excited to have been involved with supporting Tom and The Ents Inc on this fundraising. Having seen what Tom has previously created with Little Lion Entertainment and its immersive entertainment concepts with The Crystal Maze and many more to come, we can’t wait to see Chaos Karts launch in Shoreditch on 14 August 2021.”
The Stevens & Bolton team was led by corporate partner Nick Atkins, supported by Nassar Nassar (corporate senior associate), Krishna Patel (corporate senior associate) and Robert Scudamore (trainee solicitor).
