Stevens & Bolton has advised the Lisbon-based Harland & Poston Group on its successful acquisition of Formby Hall Golf Resort & Spa.
Located on the Northwest coast of England, just 30 minutes from Liverpool, Formby Hall is a premier golf resort set in 200 acres of picturesque parkland. Recently ranked 23rd on the Top 100 Golf Courses in England, the resort boasts world-class amenities, including an 18-hole championship golf course, 9-hole Woodhey Dunes Course, PGA Academy, luxury spa and health club, conference and banqueting facilities, and 76 guest rooms.
Harland & Poston Group is an international property company headquartered in Lisbon, Portugal, with additional offices in Manchester, Athens and Dubai. Its diverse portfolio includes two flagship hotels in the Algarve, residential developments across Lisbon, and projects in Glasgow and Paisley. This acquisition marks a significant step in the group's strategic expansion within the UK, a key priority throughout 2025.
