The Stevens & Bolton corporate team has advised the shareholder of L’Ecole des Petits Ltd on its sale to the Globeducate Group, one of the world’s leading K-12 education providers with a global network of over 60 schools across 11 countries.
L’Ecole de Petits was established in 1977 by Mr and Mrs Otten and set the foundation for excellence in bilingual education, fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment where pupils could thrive. Building on this success, a second school, L’Ecole de Battersea, was established in 2005, further expanding the school’s community and continuing the legacy of providing high-quality bilingual education.
Nick Otten, founder of L’Ecole des Petits, commented: “The M&A team at Stevens & Bolton are professional, efficient and dedicated to providing excellent client service. We are very pleased with this successful result and the exciting opportunities that lie ahead for L’Ecole des Petits and L’Ecole de Battersea as part of a global education network.”
Nick Atkins, Corporate Partner, commented: “We are delighted to have helped with this important transaction for Mr and Mrs Otten, allowing them to retire safe in the knowledge that Globeducate will remain committed to maintaining the high standards of education that the schools are known for and continue to honour their legacy. We wish Mr and Mrs Otten and the Globeducate team all the best for the future.”
The Stevens & Bolton team was led by Nick Atkins with support from Clare Newberry, Charlotte Lane and Ella Whelan (corporate), Sarah Cardew (corporate tax), and Chantelle de Filippis (employment). LAVA provided Corporate Finance advice.
