Laura is a second-year trainee solicitor, currently sitting in the commercial real estate team.
Laura returned to Stevens & Bolton in 2023, having gained invaluable experience setting up and running a local successful ACCA regulated accountancy firm. Prior to her career break from Stevens & Bolton and commencing her training contract, Laura was part of the commercial real estate team and acted on real estate finance transactions, general commercial property transactions and Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) matters.
Laura has acted for lenders and borrowers on small to large commercial real estate finance transactions, advised landlords on lower value tenancies, undertaken property due diligence on high value retail leasehold acquisitions, and acted for landlords and tenants on a variety of leasehold licence matters.
As part of her training contract, Laura worked in corporate tax for her first seat, where she gained exposure to a broad range of corporate tax advisory and employee incentive matters, and in commercial litigation for her second seat.
