Deliya advises clients on commercial disputes and has particular expertise in international matters.
Deliya joined Stevens & Bolton in 2024. Prior to this she worked at a litigation boutique in London and at a US firm, having previously trained at a large international firm.
Deliya has extensive and varied experience in high-value international commercial disputes, both in the High Court and in international arbitration. She advises on a wide variety of matters including applications for urgent injunctive relief, contractual claims, matters involving allegations of fraud, breach of confidence claims, sanctions-related and insolvency-related matters.
Recent highlights include:
- Advising on a breach of confidence claim in connection with the sale of a major UK business
- Acting on a long-running CIS-related joint venture dispute, requiring valuation and forensic accountancy experts set for a 12-day trial in the High Court
- Acting on a claim for enforcement of an executive compensation scheme in LCIA proceedings
- Advising a software distributor on breach of contract claims involving sanctions related force majeure circumstances
Deliya is bilingual in English and Russian and has a reading knowledge of French and Italian.
