Abigail advises on all probate and estate administration matters.
Abigail trained in the City and spent the early part of her legal career working in corporate tax before moving into general private client work. She then focused on probate and succession matters at another City law firm. Abigail joined the tax and trusts department at Stevens & Bolton in 2017, as an estate administration specialist. She became a Senior Associate in 2019 and a Managing Associate in 2022.
Abigail is experienced in the whole range of estate administration matters from providing a responsive service in more straightforward estates, where clients appreciate her calm efficiency and friendly approach, through to advising on complex estates which may require consideration of aspects such as inheritance tax reliefs, trust arrangements, post-death variations and international elements. Her focus is on advising in a pragmatic and helpful way, while recognising that this can often be a challenging time for clients.
Abigail also deals with the non-contentious aspects of disputes arising in an estate administration context, working closely with the private wealth disputes team.
