Jennifer joined Stevens & Bolton in 2024 having trained at a City law firm.
Jennifer has expertise across all aspects of contentious trusts and estates, with particular emphasis on trust disputes, will validity claims and Inheritance Act (Provision for Family and Dependants) 1975 claims. She primarily acts for a variety of private clients including family members who have suffered a bereavement, and professional and lay trustees.
Recent highlights include:
- Acting for a beneficiary of various offshore family trusts, to represent his interests in the administration of the trusts, and the potential removal of trustees
- Acting for the beneficiaries of a family trust in a breach of trust claim
- Advising the beneficiaries of a will in relation to some purported partnership assets and on the potential removal of an executor
- Acting for the trustees of a large structure of family trusts in relation to various breach of trust matters and on a professional negligence matter
- Acting for a shareholder in relation to a shareholder dispute concerning a family-run business
