Stevens & Bolton LLP has advised longstanding client Leightons Opticians & Hearing Care on its acquisition of five new businesses in recent weeks to expand the depth of eye care expertise it provides across the South. The new partnerships include: Tunbridge Wells based opticians Arthur Hayes; Bowden and Lowe opticians and contact lens specialists in Gillingham; Old Town Eyecare in Swindon; Kent Contact Lens Centre in Chatham; and Caversham Eyecare opticians in Reading.
Celebrating 90 years of business this year, Leightons is a family-run business delivering specialist eye and hearing care services. Employing 250 people across 35 UK towns and cities, Leightons’ history spans three family generations.
The Stevens & Bolton team was led by corporate partner Nick Atkins and supported by senior associate Francesca Messina, associates Bethany Sheen and Grace McNulty-Brown and real estate partner Daryl Rivero.
