Stevens & Bolton LLP is delighted to announce that James Lister, senior associate and head of the firm’s contentious trusts and estates practice, has been named in the eprivateclient Top 35 Under 35 for 2017 - the definitive annual list of young private client practitioners.
The Top 35 Under 35 is designed to identify, recognise, introduce and promote the rising stars of the private client professions. This is the second time James has made the listing (previously listed in 2015).
James joined Stevens & Bolton earlier this year, having practised and trained at Charles Russell Speechlys. He is a specialist trust and estates litigator, with particular expertise in disputes focussing on UK trust and probate claims. He advises primarily on disputes relating to HNW and UHNW individuals and their affairs, both on and offshore. Within this, James has substantial experience in advising trustees and beneficiaries on trust claims and also on contested probate matters. James regularly advises clients on claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975 and concerning disputes over estate and trust administration. James also has expertise in contested Court of Protection matters, with disputes involving attorneys and Deputies, in particular regarding applications to remove or appoint attorneys/Deputies and applications for statutory wills.
