Stevens & Bolton LLP has advised the managing shareholders of Updata Infrastructure UK Ltd, an IT network services provider, on its acquisition by Capita for £80m on a cash free, debt free basis.
Updata provides a range of networking and connectivity services to mainly public sector clients and has had a partnership with Capita in Scotland since October 2011, working together on contracts for local authorities in West Dunbartonshire, North Ayrshire, Fife and East Lothian.
