Stevens & Bolton LLP has advised The Greenfield Group Ltd. on the successful sale of La Cafetière and Randwyck, two industry-leading hot drinks brands, to the US-owned Lifetime Brands, Inc.
Motivated by a strategic realignment, the sale will see The Greenfield Group Ltd. re-focus on their core industrial businesses.
The Greenfield Group Ltd. is wholly-owned by a French family, who also own and operate significant businesses in the Private Equity Investment and Private Banking sectors.
Lew Bingham, CEO at The Greenfield Group Ltd., commented: "The sale involved a number of complexities, including intellectual property issues and multi-jurisdictional operations based in the UK, USA and the Netherlands. However an exemplarily led team, headed-up by James Waddell, ensured consistency across all regions, even when faced with the additional challenge of an escalated deadline. After such a positive experience working with the Stevens & Bolton team, collaboration in the future is highly likely."
The Stevens & Bolton team was led by corporate partner James Waddell with support from Janine Esbrand (corporate), Olivia Perrott (IP), Oliver Kidd (commercial), Adam Landy (employment), Hannah Beale (finance) and Sally Mann (corporate tax).
